Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst with strong technical and troubleshooting skills. The incumbent provides analytical and technical support for the identification, evaluation, installation, implementation and maintenance of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf software for client organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts and/or participates in interviews with business stakeholders when business requirements are changing or expanding and updates the Software Requirements Specification based upon the results of the interviews. Administer and/or oversee systems for multiple projects and environments.

  • Provides ongoing administrative support for the product to include:

  • Coordinating the receipt, application and validation of product updates

  • Coordinating user training as necessary

  • Resolving problems experienced by the product user community

  • Developing, maintaining and updating, as applicable, relevant client documentation

  • Developing demo/test data and conducting product demonstrations

  • Identifying product defects or issues that must be resolved to ensure that the product fully meets the changing needs of the client user community

  • Working with product vendors

  • Supports the client by resolving incidents and completing standard service requests.

  • Troubleshoots issues and problems to identify the cause and implements fixes.

  • Develops a software installation plan and schedule and coordinates product installation and integration with client and vendor management through development, test and production environments.

  • Develops and/or supports the development of software test plans, test scripts and test data for testing the COTS software product and executes the software tests.

  • May assist client management in evaluating and selecting the best value COTS software product.

  • As the Senior Member of the team, responsible for mentoring the junior employees.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have an active DOD secret clearance.

  • Must have 7 years of experience supporting Windows Server 2008/2012administration.

  • Must have experience with COTS implementation and maintenance.

  • Understanding of IIS setup and configuration.

  • Understanding of Server Features and Roles setup and configuration.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is an asset.

  • DEA Suitability clearance is highly desirable.

  • 10 years of operation experience in Systems Administration/Integration.

  • Experience with Windows server 2016 is highly desirable.

  • Oracle 11/12 databases.

  • SQL 2008/2012/2014 database.

  • SQL Querying/Scripting.

  • Agile Methodologies.

  • Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM).
