Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer specializing in DevSecOps to join our dynamic team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment. Your expertise in architecting and implementing security controls, integrating security guidelines into DevSecOps processes, and optimizing application performance will be essential in ensuring the delivery of secure and efficient solutions throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits, and implements software programming applications.

  • Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.

  • Proposes software solutions.

  • Determines the cost of new and modified systems and engages in the proposal process.

  • Develops, designs, and edits original applications, or modifies third-party applications.

  • Tests and approves applications.

  • Trains users and writes training manuals.

  • Manages user support and feedback.

  • May specialize in one or more areas of development, including network, operating systems, databases, or applications.

  • Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.

  • Collaborates with an Agile development team to deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.

  • Architects, designs, and implements security controls throughout the solution delivery lifecycle, ensuring the integration of security patterns and guidelines from the early stages of the lifecycle.

  • Oversees the program's security, backup, and redundancy strategies, ensuring a robust and resilient system.

  • Evaluates application performance, identifies potential bottlenecks, and develops and implements solutions to enhance performance.

  • May act as a lead.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years’ experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment.

  • Minimum Secret Clearance required.

  • Experience with frameworks and infrastructure automation.

  • Experience with large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and information systems implementation.

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure ( AWS: EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route 53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch)

  • Experience with CI/CD and application build and deploy (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, SonarCube, Terraform)

  • Excellent verbal and communications skills

  • Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in any of the following Cloud Service Providers (CSPs):

  • AWS

  • Azure
