Job Summary:

AID is looking for a Supply Technician to work at Keesler AFB, MS.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Position work in the Customer Support Section and performs day-to-day supply support operations

  • Ensures supply activities comply with published USAF guidance and policy. Read, understand and interpret Air Force Manuals governing supply systems, policies and other established guidelines

  • Ability to recognize problems, collect necessary data to establish facts and take or recommend action based upon application of established supply management guidelines

  • Performs technical supply management work for equipment items maintained on Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID); research, prepare, and process inputs to add, change, or delete organizational records

  • Processes input transactions in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database for equipment assets that are received, added, deleted or shipped

  • Conducts Annual Organizational Visits (AOV) on base organizations containing EAID assets and validate Capital Asset Reporting.

  • Compiles report and brief organization commanders on results

  • Conducts quarterly Supply Block Training classes on Equipment Management, Bench Stock Management, Repair Cycle Management, and Special Purpose Recoverable Authorized Maintenance (SPRAM)

  • Conducts Supply Indoctrination training and perform on-base organization visits on supply programs to evaluate supply support and effectiveness

  • Requires ability to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the department to include extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call as necessary

  • Position can be classified as mission essential and may require employee to shelter at work site and respond to disasters and other contingency operations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Four years of United States Air Force Base Supply experience or minimum USAF five level skill completion (2S05X) which may be substituted with desired supply experience approved by the Supply Manager

  • Experience with USAF Supply processes, able to interpret Air Force supply instructions and regulations

  • Valid State Driver’s License

  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) background investigation

  • Must have good personal computer skills; proficient on MS Office products to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
