Job Summary:

ADM is seeking an experienced and hands-on DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our technical team, with a focus on optimizing our on-premises setup and creating a next-generation pipeline on the cloud. In this role, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of DevSecOps best practices, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our software delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to the technical team, guiding and mentoring them in DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and practices.

  • Create a next-generation CI/CD pipeline on-premises and on the cloud, leveraging cloud-native technologies and services to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes.

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end CI/CD process, from design and implementation to maintenance and optimization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the current on-premises setup, identify areas for optimization, and implement improvements to enhance security, scalability, and performance.

  • Implement security controls and protocols to protect systems and data across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Drive the adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and practices, enabling the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources using code-based automation.

  • Utilize DevSecOps cloud computing skills to architect and deploy secure and scalable solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS.

  • Work on exceptionally complex problems that require extensive subject matter expertise, providing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams to align DevSecOps initiatives with business objectives and project requirements.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on DevSecOps principles, tools, and emerging technologies.

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in DevSecOps practices, continuously evaluating and recommending new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles, with a focus on security and automation.

  • DevOps Engineer (DASA) certification is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and mentorship.

  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, methodologies, and best practices, with hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security controls.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, with experience architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions.

  • Strong scripting, automation, and UNIX Administration skills.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a customer Public Trust clearance. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to qualify.
