Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality control program – develop inspection checklists, develop audit schedules, validate work instructions and SOPs against PWS requirements, track and submit all required.

  • Manage customer satisfaction program: respond to customer complaints, conduct customer follow-up on work performed, track programs statistics.

  • Subject matter expert on quality management concerns: Track all non-conformances and corrective action plans.

  • Develop metrics to track contract performance.

  • Utilize knowledge of IBC, NFPA, DoD Policies and Procedures, OSHA requirements, to ensure work is completed to standard and employees are working safely.

  • Inspect subcontractor performance against SOW.

  • The QCM is responsible for the successful management of the Quality Control Plan. The QCM is responsible for managing all Contract Delivery Requirements List (CDRLs) submittals and will work directly with the COR and QAEs to address any nonconformance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a client specific background investigation for access to Federal Government facilities.

  • Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program preferably in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science, with a minimum of 10-years’ experience as a superintendent, QC Manager, project manager, project engineer or construction manager on similar size and type construction contracts which included the major trades that are part of this task order. The individual shall have at least 5-years’ experience as a QC Manager.

  • Experience in writing and executing Quality Control Plan and schedules.

  • Able to read and interpret contractual documents and work statements.

  • Ability to develop presentations and reports on quality control activities.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal direction.

  • Ability to work with others and foster teamwork for employees engaged in administrative and clerical duties is required.

  • Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write the English language.

  • Strong organization skills.

  • OSHA 30 Training.

  • USACE Construction Quality Management Certification.

  • Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry including Microsoft Suite.

  • Procore Project Management Software.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Code inspection/enforcement experience a plus.

  • CPR First Aid Active Certificate.

  • PMP Certification.
