Technical Documentation Specialist

The individual will primarily edit and format technical documentation.He/she may also edit a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for a wide range of uses.The individual may coordinate the display of graphics and the production of documents.The candidate should have experience in supporting an office environment in the administrative field.
The candidate will:
Manage document workflows and ensure due dates are met
Become proficient in the use ofArborText
Edit and format technical documents related to Air Force network core services
Follow Document Formatting Checklists
Be able to brief leadership if necessary
Be flexible and adaptable to changes in procedures
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma/GED
Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience (A BS/BA can substitute for 2 years)
Highly meticulous in adhering to established document formats
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
An active SECRET clearance
Knowledge of Air Force networks and organizations
Prior experience with ArborText
