SAVA is seeking candidates to serve as a resource in all matters related to terrorist watchlist encounters. The assigned individuals shall focus on identity resolution, review, data integrity, inclusion of information into electronic systems, and perform a variety of extraordinarily complex and detailed analytical functions relative to the compliance with various laws, EOs, directives and policies. The assigned individuals shall respond to difficult information requests that often involve using fragmented information and shall conduct complicated searches of various database systems to locate any data regarding a particular subject / topic. The assigned individuals shall receive and conduct other offline search requests as necessary to include thorough research and analysis of information to compile a profile of the subject matter. Candidates shall recommend steps for follow-up analysis. They will input, extract, and manage data stored in a multi-dimensional database system and provide data upon request to management for analysis. Candidates will identify potential data sources and exploit those sources to acquire data and integrate data from various sources into the database structure. As appropriate and necessary, the assigned individuals shall provide mentorship and training to less experienced personnel and ensure consistent quality across the work unit. As appropriate and necessary, the assigned individuals shall serve as leaders and SMEs in relation to identity resolution, review and data integrity processes; serve as schedulers of other personnel and serve as reviewers of work performed by other analysts in addition performing their own duties. Shift work may be required.
Possess a Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and the ability to pass a US Government counterintelligence polygraph examination.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Two (2) years of relevant experience are required (Intelligence Analysis).
Possess knowledge and skills applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. The issues or problems deal with readily observable conditions, written guidelines covering work methods and procedures such as performance and production standards, and information of a factual nature.
Possess knowledge of the theory and principles of management and organization, including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, such as those pertaining to areas of responsibility, channels of communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems, and storage of files and records.
Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques such as: literature search; work measurement; task analysis and job structuring; productivity charting; determining staff to workload ratios; organizational design; space planning; development and administration of questionnaires; flowcharting of work processes; graphing; and calculation of means, modes, standard deviations, or similar statistical measures.
Ability to consistently and appropriately apply complex direction, including standard operating procedures and operations manuals documentation as well as appropriate oral and written guidance received.
Possess excellent oral and written communications skills to conduct work and discuss findings and recommendations. Shall have skills in conducting interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures.
